The fourth edition of Media & Me, a cross-border project co-funded by the Luxembourg Independent Media Authority (ALIA), will run from March to October 2020. The programme, which comprises 7 modules, will give 18 young people from Germany, France, Luxembourg and Belgium the opportunity to find out more about the media landscape in the Greater Region, receive professional guidance, gain practical experience and foster contacts in the industry.

As in previous years, Jan Hofer, the main presenter of the news programme Tagesschau, who started his career at Saarländischer Rundfunk, will be the patron of this initiative, which gives participants a behind-the-scenes insight into several companies working in the media industry.

Applicants from the Greater Region who are interested in taking part in the 2020 edition of Media & Me should send their application letters, videos, audio files or other creative content to Medien-Netzwerk SaarLorLux e.V. The deadline for applications is 12 February. A jury will then select the 18 participants for this year’s edition.

The programme is free of charge.

More information about the project and the application process is available on the website www.media-and-me.de.
