Management

The Managing Director is responsible for administrative management and for implementing the decisions taken by the Board of Directors.

The Board examines the admissibility of any complaints made to the Authority by external parties (individuals or institutions, especially foreign regulators or Luxembourg authorities); only then does the Managing Director open an investigation.

The Managing Director should attend the meetings of both the Board and the ALIA Advisory Committee in an advisory capacity.

Paul H. Lorenz took up the post of Managing Director of ALIA for a five-year term in September 2019. He is assisted in his duties by Samra Cindrak, David Cortezzi, Magali Gorynia, Carole Kickert, Saskia Mann, Catia Monteiro, Myriam Mossong, Diane Prüm, Emmanuelle Wener, Nora Wenner and Sandy Zoller.
